About The Extra Stitch

The Founders
Hi, we’re Anh and Clayton.
We’re Theodore’s parents, and the co-founders of The Extra Stitch. We started this organization after losing our son Theodore, born August 24, 2025, at 2 pounds and 13.5 inches. He had trisomy 18. His life was brief. His impact was not.
When Theodore was born, we wanted to dress him with something intentional. What we found was a gap. Tiny babies with almost nothing made for them. Nothing that fit. Nothing that felt like love made visible.
The Extra Stitch exists to fill that gap.
Why We’re Here
Our Mission
To ensure that handmade crochet outfits exist for the tiniest babies. For families navigating trisomy 18, early infant loss, and unexpected delivery.
For every baby. No matter how small.
Every Theodore Set is handcrafted with intention: a beanie, booties, an overall, and a bear rattle. Sized for Nano and Micro Preemies. Made with love. Delivered with care.
